Stay on top of your breeding, even offline at the hutch
Log a mating or an egg count and HutchOS keeps track of the dates for you, from kindling to hatching. It works without a signal in the barn and works out whether your breeding actually pays.
Works in the browser and on your phone · Free plan · No card needed
HutchOS is still in development — it may contain bugs and things are still changing. Found something broken, or missing something you need? Write to us at info@hutchos.org. Nothing moves us forward like feedback from breeders in the field.
A look inside the app
Every screen has one clear job, so you find your way without a manual.
Daily overview
Open the app and you see what today holds: kindlings due, tasks and alerts. Nothing to hunt for — the app tells you what needs doing.
Pedigree and inbreeding
Three generations of ancestors on one screen. The app watches relatedness and suggests which animals pair well, so you never breed close relatives by accident.
Costs and profit
Feed, purchases and sales in one place. You see at a glance whether your breeding pays, to the koruna, not by feel.
Not just rabbits: chickens, quail, ducks and geese
Keep poultry too: egg counts, incubation and hatching, feed, and sex ratios for chickens, ducks and geese. One species, or all of them side by side.
For rabbit keepers. And not only them.
Whether you keep a few rabbits in the garden or run a large rabbitry, HutchOS helps you keep track — even if you are only just starting to keep records. And it handles quail, chickens, ducks and geese too.
Rabbits
Keep track of your animals and their matings. The app reminds you when kits are due, when to wean them and when to vaccinate. It watches relatedness for you.
Quail
Log eggs and follow your hatches. The app keeps the incubator dates and walks you through rearing the chicks.
Chickens
Log the lay and follow your hatches. The app reminds you of incubator dates and shows what the flock costs and what it brings in.
Ducks
Log eggs, feed and hatches. The app allows for the longer duck incubation and watches the drake-to-duck ratio.
Geese
Keep the flock as a whole or bird by bird. The app follows the seasonal lay, the hatches and the gander-to-goose ratio.
What the app does for your breeding
Pedigree and relatedness
See three generations of ancestors for every animal, and let the app suggest suitable pairings.
It guides you through the season
From mating to kindling and weaning: the app says what to do and when, and reminds you itself.
Litters and young stock
Record a litter, weigh the young and mark which you keep for breeding and which go for meat — in a few taps.
Shows and champions
Record show results and see which of your lines are doing best.
Costs and profit
Enter expenses and sales and the app works out whether your breeding feeds you or costs you.
Works offline
Record right at the hutch with no signal; data is saved and syncs the moment you are back online.
Better value than paper — or the competition
Most breeding software is built for large commercial operations, priced accordingly, and rarely speaks your language. HutchOS is simple, affordable and made for the way small breeders actually work.
Simpler, cheaper and genuinely understandable.
Simple and clear
Minimal tapping, no training. A mating or a litter is recorded in seconds.
We understand breeding
We use the app ourselves and know what you need in practice.
Cheaper
Affordable subscriptions and a generous free plan. No overpriced licences.

Frequently asked questions
Does the app really work offline?
Yes. Data is stored on your phone itself and syncs as soon as you have a signal. Made for the rabbit shed.
Which animals is HutchOS for?
Rabbits, quail, chickens, ducks and geese. Keep one species or several at once.
What does it cost?
There is a free plan (5 rabbits, 1 flock). The paid Hobby and Pro plans unlock more animals and features, monthly or at a cheaper annual rate. See pricing
What happens if I stop paying?
You lose nothing. Your data stays safe — only the Free plan limits come back (5 rabbits, 1 flock). Nothing is deleted and you can resubscribe at any time.
Do I have to install anything?
No. Open app.hutchos.org on your phone or computer and start using it, the same way you read your email online. Nothing is downloaded. If you like, you can add an icon to your phone so it is there like any other app.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your records are stored securely on servers in the European Union and only you can see them. You can download them or delete them entirely at any time. They are yours.
Which languages does the app support?
Czech, English, German, Polish and Russian.
